Smashing Targets and Saving Lives
Originally aiming to raise a fantastic £500, Alf & Rory absolutely smashed their target, pedaling their way to a phenomenal £2,920! This incredible sum will make a real difference in the lives of critically ill patients across the North West.
A Vital Investment in Life-Saving Equipment
Thanks to Alf & Rory’s incredible fundraising efforts, the NWPCCC has been able to purchase Arterial Line invasive blood pressure monitoring kits. This equipment allows our highly skilled team of volunteer doctors and paramedics to accurately measure a patient’s blood pressure in critical situations.
How Does an Arterial Line Kit Help?
For patients experiencing severe trauma or medical emergencies, accurate and continuous blood pressure monitoring is crucial. This equipment allows the team to directly access an artery, providing the most precise reading possible. This information is vital for making life-saving decisions about a patient’s treatment.
