On Monday 29th July, the North West Pre-hospital Critical Care Charity deployed two doctors to the shocking and saddening events at the Taylor Swift themed event in Southport. Our volunteers played key roles in the delivery of the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust and Merseyside Police major incidents plans.

A further voluntary Doctor & Critical Care Paramedic team deployed to the major incident that was declared the following night due to rioting in Southport.

Our hearts go out to all those affected by these terrible events, including victims, families, first responders, and the wider NHS including Alder Hey & Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.

Your support is vital in enabling us to respond to incidents like this. As a fully volunteer-run charity, we rely on public donations to continue providing life-saving critical care. Even the smallest donation can make a huge difference.
